Well this is sadly unsurprising.

The Real Housewives of Miami pair Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago have officially ended their five-year engagement without a wedding.

The reality couple announced the news today via InTouch.

“We got in a huge fight, and I just pretty much got fed up with it.  He loves me to death, he wants to be with me, but there’s something that’s holding him from committing 100 percent. It’s been more than five years, we don’t have a wedding date set. … Nothing was going to change,” Joanna told InTouch.

Romain — of course — had a different opinion on the cause of the split: “I don’t know if it’s over forever but I’m pretty pissed. She is traveling all over the place anyway.  There is no way anyone can be with her like this. That’s her choice.”

As seen on RHOM, the pair have previously hit rocky ground because of Joanna’s desire to pay more attention to her career than her relationship, which caused Romain to temporarily wander over to another woman.

Honestly, the split is probably a good thing. A relationship riddled with egos, infidelity and reality TV drama deserves to be put out of it’s misery, although, Romain’s washy “I don’t know if it’s over forever” response makes me think this duo will be resurrected once again. Sigh.
