New ‘Real Housewives of New York’ cast: Meet the ladies

After Bravo decided to clean house with the firings of Jill Zarin, Kelley Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop last week, some new housewives are laying their claim on the open Real Housewives of New York cast positions.

While Bravo hasn’t formally announced the signing of any new ladies, they conveniently “leaked” the names of three prestigious New Yorkers last week.

One of the replacements is the creator of Yummy Shapewear, Heather Thompson, who is also a successful designer and stylist, having worked alongside megastars such as Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Lopez.

Carole Radziwill is the widow of Prince Anthony Radziwill. Radziwill was the only son of Prince Stanislas Radziwill and Lee Radziwill, Jackie Kennedy Onassis’ sister. Carole was reported to have a close relationship with Carolyn Bessette and John F Kennedy Jr., and wrote a book entitled What Remains, about the loss she experienced in her life.

The final newbie, Aviva Drescher, dubbed as the “Wall Street Wife,” is the CEO of the Drescher Family, her husband, Reid Drescher, is the founder of Spencer Clarke Securities & Investment Banking.
